Electronics manufacturing for power conversion, energy storage, and charging technology.
Incap manufactures electronics for power conversion and conditioning, energy storage systems, industrial charging technology, and grid-connected infrastructure. The scope covers PCB assemblies, power electronics, electromechanical builds, and complete subsystem assembly for products where electrical performance, thermal management, and reliable continuous operation are fundamental requirements.
What Incap builds in this sector
The product range runs from individual power supply assemblies and inverter electronics through to complete UPS systems, power quality solutions, and energy conversion systems for industrial and infrastructure applications. Energy storage electronics, monitoring and control modules, and charging technology for stationary and industrial applications are also within scope. Magnetic components including transformers and chokes, which are core to power conversion products, are manufactured in-house as part of the overall build scope.
Incap also offers its own power electronics platform covering DC-DC converters from 1 to 10 kW and intelligent battery charging technology across a wide voltage range. These are available as part of a broader design-to-production partnership or as a standalone capability where the application calls for it.
Maritime energy storage is one concrete area within this scope. Incap has manufactured battery rack systems for hybrid marine vessels, where reliable energy management, safe operation in a marine environment, and long service life with minimal maintenance access are all requirements.

Manufacturing for power electronics applications
Thermal management is a central concern in power electronics manufacturing. Component placement, soldering processes, and protection methods all need to account for the heat that high-current assemblies generate in operation. Conformal coating, potting, and encapsulation provide additional protection against moisture and environmental exposure in products that often operate continuously in demanding conditions.
Testing for power electronics goes beyond standard functional verification. Burn-in testing, high-voltage testing, insulation testing, and application-specific load testing are standard parts of the production process for products in this sector.
From development to long-term product support
Power conversion and energy storage products typically have long field lives. Early NPI involvement covering component selection, thermal design review, and test strategy development reduces the risk of issues that are costly to fix once a product is in series production. Where continued manufacturing support or component lifecycle management is relevant, Incap can structure that as part of the ongoing production relationship.
Manufacturing quality as a performance guarantee
In power electronics, a manufacturing defect rarely stays contained. A failed solder joint in a high-current assembly, an inadequately potted connection in a field-deployed inverter, or a component chosen without regard for long-term availability all carry consequences that extend well beyond the cost of the original unit.
Relevant certifications
Incap holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 across all manufacturing sites. ATEX certification for explosive atmosphere applications is held at relevant sites. Nuclear quality assurance compliance under 10CFR50 and 10CFR21 applies at Incap US. The ABS Manufacturing Assurance Certificate, held at Incap Estonia, covers manufacturing quality requirements for marine applications including energy storage systems. IPC standards cover PCB assembly and workmanship requirements across the group.
