Did you know that Incap US empowers women in engineering?

Incap US is supporting women in engineering and has provided a leadership course for two women from their unit. Program Engineer Alicia Kelley and Manufacturing Engineer Kayla Hussar are sharing their experiences.

The Women in Leadership program is designed specifically for women aiming to develop leadership qualities and put them into action. Alicia’s motivation is clear: she wants to learn about these qualities and apply them in her current role. For Kayla, this opportunity is a chance to develop fresh perspectives and gain insights from fellow women working in the manufacturing sector.

So far, the course has covered a broad spectrum of leadership essentials, including conflict resolution, communication skills, and the art of self-advocacy. What sets this program apart is that participants are working on real-world projects outside of the classroom. These projects are grounded in human-centred design methods, allowing them to tackle workplace challenges with innovative solutions.
