STUDENT SUPPORT PROGRAM AT INCAP SLOVAKIA
With the arrival of the new school year, students from secondary vocational schools joined our team. They decided to carry out the required professional internships at Incap Slovakia.
Who participates in the program?
Our factory in Namestovo has worked together with the High School in Nizna and the I. Gessaya´s Industrial High School in Tvrdosin for a long time. We signed agreements with the schools. Incap Slovakia provides professional internships within the system of dual education. 10 students take part in the internship: 5 in mechatronics and 5 in electromechanics. Most of them joined us via our company’s long-term cooperation with their schools. Some of them joined based on the recommendations of vocational teachers. They are well acquainted with the technical setup and equipment here. Four students had an internship at Incap Slovakia during the first two years in the school.
Incap Slovakia also receives interns from the Business Academy with a bilingual program.
What are the benefits of cooperation?
Maria Kecerova, HR Manager at Incap Slovakia, believes the cooperation works very well. Students work in production under supervision as operators on the machines. They get to know and understand technological procedures and equipment. “We are happy that supervisors are very satisfied with students’ work. They appreciate their interest, responsible approach, skills, and consistency,” she explains.
Most of the students at Incap Slovakia want to continue their studies at university. Others would like to find a job in their field, according to Kecerova.
What are students working on at Incap Slovakia?
“The internship allows students to experience the conditions and processes in a manufacturing company. They can try new things and combine theoretical knowledge with practice. The students enjoy the working environment and working in a friendly team” Kecerova added.
David and Simon are students of the dual educational system. They have experience with Incap Slovakia’s assembly machines and the entire production line. Pavol, Jan, and Markus appreciate the possibility of getting acquainted with the operations of a large company. They want to complete their studies and pursue their profession, or gain experience abroad. Pavel likes to pack finished products in the warehouse. He believes that working at Incap Slovakia is a good experience.
