Meet the team: Assistant Manager Lakshmi Pradeep from Incap India

Let’s meet one of our team members from Incap India! Lakshmi Pradeep is an Assistant Manager in the Testing department at Incap’s factories in India.

We are excited to introduce our team members from different factories and this time we are introducing Lakshmi from India! She mainly takes care of test development activities like Functional Testing for PCBA Level and Unit Level as per the Customer requirement.

Lakshmi holds a Bachelor Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Before joining Incap, she also worked for a Software Company in Bangalore.

Lakshmi joined Incap in January 2008. She found her way to Incap thanks to her batchmate, who at that time was an employee at Incap. “I was planning to move to my hometown Tumkur after having my first baby, so that I could work as well as take care of my baby with the help of my in-laws. At that point of time one of my batchmates was an employee at Incap. Through her I was able to find an opening for the Test Department,” said Lakshmi.

One can say that Lakshmi’s journey in the manufacturing sector started thanks to Incap. Besides being responsible for different test development activities, she also takes care of test systems like In-Circuit Tester (ICT) and Test Equipment. In addition, she works on projects which will help to improve the production flow.

Lakshmi has already contributed towards an improvement of production: she developed an internal tracking system for PCBA Level in the production line, which helps with the accountability at each line. Moreover, she developed Test Set-ups for some of the company’s largest customers.

Lakshmi likes to spend her free time with her kids. She also enjoys listening to music and playing chess.
