James holds a crucial role at Incap US as our PCBA Production Coordinator, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) production process. From material reception to staffing, shift scheduling, and ensuring on-time delivery to our valued customers, James is at the forefront of our manufacturing operations.
His academic background is diverse and includes studying Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) for a period. He holds several certificates in Lean Manufacturing, Surface Mount Advanced Operations, Electronics Manufacturing, and Leadership. This extensive knowledge and training contribute to his effectiveness in managing our PCBA production.
James’s journey to Incap US has been marked by diverse experiences. Before joining our team in 2009, he worked in various fields, ranging from steelworking, utilities, and construction to a position with one of the largest electronics companies in the United States. His decision to join Incap was driven by relocation requirements, and since then, he has become an integral part of our organisation.
In his current role, James is not only responsible for overseeing the production processes but also for fostering effective communication within our team. He interacts with every member of the Incap family, from the Managing Director and Program Managers to Engineering and the newest hires. This ensures that our manufacturing team’s needs are met and that we maintain a culture of open and effective communication.
What sets James apart is his dedication to the Incap team. He cherishes the diversity of our workforce, where each member brings their unique strengths and expertise to create magic every day. The commitment to constant improvement and excellence within our team is what makes Incap US special, and James embodies this spirit.
Outside of work, James is a devoted family man, having been married for 18 years to his wife, Jennifer, and being a proud father of two teenagers, Jayden and Jonah. His passion for giving back to the community is evident through his extensive involvement in youth baseball. James volunteers his time to have a positive influence on local youth by serving as a Junior High School Baseball coach for the Brownsville Area School District, coaching recreational baseball for local youth, and being a coach for a Pittsburgh-based youth travel baseball team, Pittsburgh Premiere.
In addition to his community involvement, James enjoys music, spending time in nature, and bonding with his dogs, Odin and Nala. He’s also an enthusiast of DIY projects and loves vacationing with family and friends.
