Incap Estonia received digital diagnostics grant by Enterprise Estonia
To further develop the digitalization and automation processes, Incap Estonia has completed a digital diagnostics and has been awarded a grant by Enterprise Estonia.
The digi-diagnostics project (EU53691) covered a wide range of processes from sourcing, supply chain, warehousing, production planning and resource managing, production processes, quality management and finance. During the diagnostics 13 business critical areas with improvement projects were defined. To map root causes and find the most suitable improvement for each area, project teams used the analytical approach known as 6-Sigma methodology. For each problematic area, a detailed improvement plan with cost calculations were completed to use as a long- and short term digitalization map.
“We decided to carry out the diagnostics to gain an understanding of our processes that are business-critical to digitalize, improve and automate. A majority of the improvements have already started or have been added to the company strategy. Since our employees were actively included, new analytical and change management knowledge inside our company is an extra benefit from the digi-diagnostic project (EU53691),” commented Greg Grace, Managing Director of Incap Electronics Estonia.
The Digital Diagnostics Grant is awarded by Enterprise Estonia with an objective to raise awareness of digitalisation and automation in industry.
