Meet Aubree Yates, Senior Accountant at Incap US
We are happy to introduce Aubree Yates, who has recently been promoted to Senior Accountant at Incap US. Read more about her background, career journey, and life beyond work.
Aubree started her accounting journey at Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting. She discovered her love for accounting in high school while assisting her grandparents with their small business books. This early experience not only introduced her to the joys of balancing books but also set her on her professional path.
Aubree joined Incap through an internship in the spring of 2020, during her senior year of college. Her performance and dedication during this period led to a full-time offer at the end of her internship. Starting her career during the COVID pandemic, Aubree has shown resilience and adaptability, quickly becoming a key part of our team.
As Senior Accountant, she works closely with the financial controller to prepare month-end and year-end financial statements. She plays a crucial role in tax preparation, year-end audits, and manages daily inventory transactions and stock count reconciliations. Additionally, she oversees the Accounts Payable process, including invoice processing and vendor payments, and maintains the Accounts Receivable system, ensuring everything from customer invoicing to cash receipts is handled efficiently.
Aubree’s favourite aspect of working at Incap is the people, particularly the close-knit accounting team. She values the growth opportunities and supportive environment that Incap provides, which have been instrumental in her recent promotion and ongoing professional development.
Outside of work, Aubree leads an active lifestyle. She is currently training for a half marathon, channelling the same discipline and perseverance she applies at work into her personal fitness goals. In addition to her training, she is renovating her house. Aubree also cherishes her longstanding connection to softball, having played from the age of 5 until 22, and continues to share her love for the sport as a volunteer coach for a 10U softball team.
We are proud to have Aubree on our team and look forward to seeing all she accomplishes!
