We are also working on recruiting skilled manpower. We met with 12 Industrial Training Institute colleges and shared our syllabus with them, which will be included in their curriculum, and we will be able to hire trained manpower. Moreover, we introduced practical training for new recruits in their 3-day recruitment programme to enable them to get a feel of shop floor experience before deployment,” he said. In addition, they are planning to set up an incubation centre to train the students of nearby ITI colleges under the National Skill Development Scheme as its training aide.
There are also other ongoing initiatives that have already brought about some visible changes, such as improved safety through employees wearing PPEs (personal protective equipment) and ID cards, making pedestrian walkway markings and installation of Convex mirrors at vantage points. They have also installed GPS on company vehicles and will soon do the same for contract vehicles, to improve measuring and tracking.
“What I like the most about working at Incap is the freedom of expression given by the Managing Director, Murthy Munipalli. It has really enabled me to express and implement ideas by keeping the best interest of the company in mind. The encouragement I received from him is overwhelming. He is open to discuss any matters concerning the overall interest of the company. That is the driving force for me to put in the best of my efforts,” explained Prakash.
In his free time Prakash loves to travel in the countryside, go for long drives, watch sports and current affairs.
