Meet the Team: Maria Vajdiarova, Production Team Leader at Incap Slovakia

Let us introduce you to a valued member of our team at Incap Slovakia: Maria Vajdiarova, our dedicated Production Team Leader. Here’s more about her background and journey to Incap.

Although Maria’s education is in economics, her career path has taken her through various industries. Early in her career, she worked in an industrial goods store, selling electronics, and later spent several years abroad as a nanny. While the time overseas was enriching, Maria longed for a job closer to home to be near her family.

Her first experience in the electrical engineering field came at a large company in Orava, where she spent 4.5 years – first as a production operator and later as a quality controller. When friends and acquaintances spoke highly of Incap as an employer, Maria decided to apply. She already had similar work experience, was eager to improve her skills, such as soldering, and saw the opening as a chance for growth. She joined Incap as a production operator and, after about two years, advanced to her current role as Production Team Leader.

In her position, Maria is responsible for organising her workplace according to plans, leading her team and supporting their development, and ensuring the supply of materials for specific products. What she enjoys most is the diversity of production, working with people, and using her organisational skills. She values the opportunities for personal growth at Incap, having taken part in internal trainer programmes and leadership skills training for production team leaders.

Outside of work, Maria’s greatest joy is spending time with her family. She also enjoys reading, cycling, hiking, and skiing in the winter. Gardening is another passion, giving her the chance to work with her hands and enjoy the results.
