Meet Anna-Liisa Sepp, our Purchasing and Procurement Manager at Incap Estonia. With a career that spans various international companies and leadership roles, Anna-Liisa brings deep strategic insight and practical experience to our supply chain operations.
Anna-Liisa’s professional journey began with a degree in Business Administration from Estonian Business School. Although her first role was as a purchasing assistant, she quickly realised that supply chain management was where she wanted to focus – and she’s stayed on that path ever since. Over the years, she’s held senior positions in both local and international organisations, managing complex supply chains and leading cross-functional teams.
Joining Incap felt like a natural next step in her career. “I was looking for a dynamic and ambitious environment where I could apply what I’ve learned and help shape smarter solutions. At Incap, I felt that right away,” Anna-Liisa says.
In her current role, she leads procurement processes, manages supplier relationships, mitigates risks, and handles long-term planning. But the work goes far beyond orders and deliveries. Her days are filled with strategic decisions, negotiations, and building strong partnerships that ensure the right balance between cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
“Being a procurement manager is a bit like playing chess,” she explains. “You need to think several steps ahead and remain ready to adapt when the situation changes.”
Anna-Liisa is also a strong believer in the power of teamwork. “You can’t achieve great things alone. I see my role as creating an environment where people feel valued, supported, and able to grow.”
She’s especially focused on strengthening supply chain resilience at a time when global challenges are reshaping the entire field. “We need to stay flexible, act fast, and develop alternative solutions. With the right mindset and a motivated team, we can tackle any challenge.”
What she values most about working at Incap is the openness to ideas and the genuine appreciation for people. “Here, everyone has a voice, and everyone’s input matters. That kind of environment pushes you to do your best.”
Outside of work, Anna-Liisa leads an active lifestyle. She enjoys hiking, skiing, cycling, and water sports. She’s also passionate about photography, which combines her love of nature and eye for detail. “Being outdoors gives me peace and clarity. It also helps me notice the small things – something that’s just as important in the workplace.”
Her advice for future supply chain professionals? Stay curious and flexible. “This field is constantly evolving – whether it’s environmental regulations, geopolitical risks, or digital transformation. Be open to learning, follow the trends, and most importantly, stay true to your values. Honesty, teamwork, and strategic thinking are what truly drive success.”
