Meet the team: Andrea Trabalková from Incap Slovakia
Let’s meet one of our team members from Incap Slovakia! Andrea Trabalková has been working as a senior technical operator at our Námestovo factory for 4 years. Find out more about her background, experience at Incap and some other interesting facts!
You might be surprised to hear that before working at Incap Andrea actually studied hairdressing at SOU in Žilina. After finishing studies, she continued to work in the beauty industry, as she got a job in a company that was engaged in the production of jewellery. However, then she went on maternity leave and after having three children, Andrea changed her course of career and continued on the position of operator. The next 17 years she worked in four different companies operating in the electrical industry.
“After I decided to leave the last of them, I applied for employment at AWS Slovakia (now Incap Slovakia) and after successfully passing the selection process based on my many years of experience, I was hired in 2019 for the position of operator,” said Andrea. Over time, she switched to technical operator. One of her main responsibilities is operating and setting up SMT machines.
“It is a job that I see as an opportunity for self-realisation, as the work here is varied. There is always the opportunity to learn something new and push the boundaries of one’s abilities further. I am currently in the position of senior technical operator and occasionally also perform the function of team leader deputy. It can be said that I “found myself” in my work and I consider work as my hobby. We are a great team and we help each other,” Andrea added.
In her free time Andrea does sports. She is also a member of the Slovak Tourists Club, thanks to which she participates in events such as hiking, cross-country skiing, swimming, cycling and running. Among other things, Andrea likes to read books. “I consider the need to learn at least a little bit of Italian as a new challenge in my private life, since my son-in-law is Italian,” said Andrea.
