Meet Steve Brosnan, the new driving force behind quality excellence at Incap UK since January 2024. Steve brings a wealth of experience and a passion for maintaining the highest standards to our team.
Steve’s journey in manufacturing began nearly eight years ago in the fast-paced environment of a car manufacturing plant. There he gained invaluable insights into production methodologies emphasising quality and safety.
For the majority of the last fifteen years, he was employed by a building insulation manufacturer. Steve embarked on a journey through various roles and responsibilities. Starting as a Process Operator, he soon rose to leadership positions, including Deputy Supervisor and Shift Supervisor, where he gained his skills in quality control and manufacturing operations. In 2015, Steve’s expertise and leadership acumen led to his promotion to Quality Assurance Manager, where he seamlessly integrated his multifaceted experiences to elevate quality standards and streamline processes. Armed with formal training in Internal and Lead Auditing, as well as Six Sigma methodology, Steve thrived on the challenges and opportunities inherent in quality management.
After a period of redundancy, Steve sought a new challenge aligned with his values and aspirations. Drawn to Incap by its unwavering commitment to quality and supportive work culture, he seized the opportunity to contribute his expertise to a team dedicated to excellence.
As the Quality Manager at Incap, Steve’s responsibilities encompass leading a dynamic team, overseeing day-to-day operations, and driving continuous improvement in quality, environmental, and health & safety systems. From managing audits to fostering customer relations and addressing product quality issues, Steve’s role demands versatility, leadership, and proactive problem-solving.
What Steve values most about working at Incap is the unwavering support and collaborative spirit permeating the company culture. Despite being relatively new to the organisation, he has found opportunities for learning and growth, thanks to the generosity of colleagues eager to share their expertise.
Outside the office, Steve finds comfort and rejuvenation in nature. With his faithful dog as a companion by his side, he embarks on hiking adventures in the picturesque landscapes of the Peak District. Embracing the tranquillity of the hills and relishing moments of respite with a flask of hot tea, Steve finds balance and fulfilment amidst the beauty of the outdoors.
