Let’s meet one of our valued team members from Incap UK! Martin Cody serves as an Electronic Test and Repair Engineer. Read more about his background, career journey, and his life beyond work.

For 27 years, he was working at Multimessage in the role of Electronic Test and Repair Engineer. His job was fixing various telecommunications, data, and network equipment, where he delved into tasks such as component-level repairs, memory flash chip reflashing, software loading, console port access, laptop repairs, and more.

Martin’s journey started with evening college courses, where he earned his City and Guilds in Electronic Servicing, laying the foundation for his career in electronics. His search for a similar role to his previous experiences led him to Incap. While initially eyeing a Trainer position, he embraced the challenge of the repair role offered to him.

Currently, Martin’s core responsibilities revolve around testing and repairing equipment for the Highways Agency. What Martin appreciates most about working at Incap is the warm camaraderie among colleagues, the relaxed atmosphere, and the cherished tradition of early Friday departures.

Family is at the heart of Martin’s life. Having recently relocated to be closer to his wife’s family, he enjoys spending time with his two boys, aged 8 and 3, and his 19-year-old daughter. Beyond work and family, Martin indulges in his passion for motorsport, particularly enjoying BTCC races, as well as football and NFL games. He’s also a movie enthusiast and relishes moments with friends and family. Not one to shy away from hands-on activities, Martin finds joy in DIY projects and tinkering with his car. Additionally, he admits to having a soft spot for trainers and watches, his guilty pleasures in life.
