Meet our team: Heather Rowe from Incap UK

Let’s meet one of our team members from Incap UK! Heather Rowe is the Supply Chain Manager at our factory in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Read more about her background and her journey at Incap!

Heather has followed an exciting path leading up to her current role at Incap. She started her career at Instem in 1994 on a temporary contract for three weeks, working on the shop floor. This contract was extended to a full year before she was offered a permanent position. Throughout her career, Heather has held a variety of roles, from storing and assembling PCB kits to becoming a workplace trainer.

In 1999, Heather was given the opportunity to move into the purchasing department as a material expeditor. Her dedication and skill set led her to roles in planning, quoting, and eventually the buying team. Over the years, Heather’s leadership skills shone through, leading to her becoming the Purchasing Team Leader, and ultimately, the Supply Chain Manager under Incap’s ownership.

At Incap, Heather runs the UK purchasing team. Her extensive experience in various roles has equipped her to manage her responsibilities efficiently. Heather appreciates the strong management support at Incap and values the company’s efforts to create a more sociable environment across its sites.

Outside of work, Heather is a passionate player of Crown Green Bowls, a sport she has been involved in since she was 10. She plays for three teams and has been representing Staffordshire County since 1988. Family is very important to Heather; she has three children and four grandchildren with whom she loves to socialise and go on holiday.
