As the Controller, Matthew plays a crucial role in managing the accounting department, overseeing various financial aspects of the company.
Matthew’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from California University of Pennsylvania, which he completed in 2004. He began his journey at Incap Electronics US in October of the same year and has been an integral part of the team for an impressive 18 years and 9 months.
As the Controller, Matthew’s main responsibilities revolve around managing the accounting department. This involves overseeing day-to-day tasks such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and inventory management, as well as analysing financial statements for monthly and yearly reporting. He leads a great team, including Aubree Yates (3.5 years), Alyssa Barclay (9 years), and an Administrative Assistant.
One of the aspects that Matthew values the most about working at Incap is the family-oriented environment. Even though Incap Electronics US has only recently become a part of the Incap group, the company already feels like a close-knit family. The decentralised philosophy allows each facility to contribute its unique qualities and strengths while being united under the Incap umbrella. Matthew sees Incap as an excellent opportunity for all team members and looks forward to contributing to the company’s growth in the future.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys a fulfilling family life. He has been married for 15 years and has two wonderful daughters, aged 9 and 6. His free time is dedicated to being actively involved in his daughters’ activities, including helping with school work, supporting them in dance and soccer, and cherishing precious family moments.
