Incap UK is looking to recruit a team-player with excellent communication skills to complete a Level 3 Engineering Technical Apprenticeship. The Apprenticeship will lead to opportunities for the right person to become a fully qualified Electronics Test Technician or a Manufacturing / Process Technician.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Electrical and electronics testing and diagnosing root cause failure within electrical and electronic assemblies
- Assist with the functional testing of printed circuit assemblies (PCA’s) and unit assemblies
- Diagnosing faults on PCAs and units down to component level
- Programming of ICs using associated software and hardware suites
- P.A.T. testing of manufactured products and test equipment
- Expected duration: 48 months
- Possible start date: 05 Sep 2022
- Working week: 39 hours over 5 days

REQUIREMENTS
- PC literate with experience of Microsoft Office products
- Interested in Electronics / Manufacturing Engineering
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Good communicator
- ‘Can do’ attitude
- Willing to learn new skills
- Minimum GCSE grade A*-C (9-4) or above including English, Maths and 2 others (preferably one being a science) or equivalent

- Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and English if required
