LEAD PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

• Train and mentor trainees, less experienced operators and apprentices
• Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures
• Consistently manage and carry out required tasks
• Work across most/all areas of the production process
• Read and follow written and verbal instructions and work standards

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Experience of working with production and sub-assemblies
• Problem solving skills
• Experience of working to production targets
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S
• Understanding of production costs
• Good understanding of customer deliverables
• Assertive, optimistic, resilient and open to change
• Self-motivated
• Adaptable
• A “can do” attitude
• Self-awareness and has a collaborative approach to working with others
• Able to use own initiative
• Attention to detail
