Main responsibilities
- Maintain existing MS Access and SQL databases
- Develop SQL databases with links to current SQL-based ERP system
- Create and execute custom SQL Query’s
- Research, coordinate, and implement new software and technology, including upgrade to current ERP system
- Set up and configure computers for new and existing users including:
- Install/setup Windows operating system and required software
- Add computers to the company domain and create users in the active directory
- Create email accounts for new users
- Maintain permission settings for all internal and cloud-based shared files
- Provide technical support for all on-site users with IT-related issues involving computers, printers, software, and other peripheral devices
- Develop and conduct computer- and software-related training as needed
- Participate in collaborative and independent IT projects
- Perform related duties as required or assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of SQL, SQL databases, and MS SQL Server Administration as well as a familiarity with running patches on SQL Server
- Knowledge of Web services management and IIS as well as API
- Knowledge of Stimulsoft Report for custom report needs and/or other similar SQL DB reporting tools, Excel, Access, etc.
- Proficient with, or able to quickly learn, the software and applications used in the organization and the industry including ERP/MES systems
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical end users
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
