Incap UK’s solar panels successfully connected to the grid
Incap UK has reached an important milestone in its solar energy project: the rooftop solar panel system has now been successfully connected to the National Grid. With the connection in place, the installation is fully operational and ready to support the factory’s electricity supply.
Earlier this year, 400 solar panels were installed on the rooftop to improve long-term energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. The system is expected to generate around 158,000 kWh of electricity annually, covering approximately 33% of Incap UK’s total site demand and up to 49% of its daylight consumption. From 2026 onwards, the site is expected to benefit from the system’s full annual output.
The connection to the National Grid marks the final step in the project and enables Incap UK to begin realising the anticipated energy savings while further lowering its carbon footprint.
