Incap India introduced a kiosk to reform leave management and training evaluation
To modernise operations and make processes smoother, Incap India has introduced a new kiosk on the factory shop floor. This marks a significant step towards a paperless management system. The kiosk aims to revolutionise leave management and On-the-Job Training (OJT) test evaluations, with further enhancements on the horizon.
One of the primary objectives of the newly introduced kiosk is to facilitate online leave applications for both employees and trainees. This eliminates the need for paperwork and speeds up approval procedures. Additionally, the kiosk has an online OJT test evaluation system, providing an efficient method for assessing trainee performance.
Beyond operational efficiency, the adoption of paperless systems brings significant environmental benefits. The digitisation of records not only reduces clutter and storage space but also contributes to environmental sustainability. By eliminating the need for paper, the initiative aims to save at least 10 trees annually.
Future Developments
While the kiosk has already brought substantial improvements, there are ongoing developments aimed at enhancing functionality. The implementation of an online out-pass system is currently in progress, promising further convenience and efficiency for employees. Moreover, a Human Resources (HR) dashboard is in development, which will offer comprehensive insights and analytics for better workforce management.
