In 2022 Incap Estonia sorted 84% of waste by type
At Incap Corporation, we have chosen to focus on the sustainable use of resources and materials, and we have a higher than planned recycling rate of substances and lubricants in the amount of waste generated.
Our environmental management system (EMS) in Incap Estonia is certified in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001, and based on this, we have created an action plan and set goals for the proportion of recycling and the amount of production scrap and residues. In 2022, we sorted 84% of waste by type in our Kuressaare factory. Collecting the largest types of waste at the point of origin is one of the most important factors in promoting the circular economy.
- Incap Estonia’s waste collection process is regulated by the “Waste Sorting Guide”, which sets out the company’s waste management process.
- When waste is generated, there are sorting requirements described in the manual in order to ensure correct waste management by all Incap Estonia employees.
- Our production has information materials that visually explain waste sorting with real examples, all waste sorting locations are clearly marked and in all rooms and buildings of the continuous system.
