Incap UK explores technology at The Factory of the Future event

Dave Elms, Technical Director at Incap UK, recently attended the Factory of the Future event in Coventry, accompanied by members of the engineering team and two final-year apprentices.

The two-day event, hosted by Altus Group in partnership with Fuji, focused on the latest innovations in electronics manufacturing. Attendees were given live demonstrations of cutting-edge equipment, with a particular emphasis on SMT production lines, component management, and sustainable cleaning processes.

Industry leaders also shared their insights on key topics such as vapour phase soldering, forced convection reflow, and the growing role of AI in inspection processes.

The event provided valuable knowledge for Dave and the team, while the apprentices had the chance to explore the technology shaping the future of electronics manufacturing.
