Main responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily production of box build/final assembly
- Assign job duties to production staff daily to keep the lines running at maximum efficiency, while coordinating with Production Manager
- Manage the status of several work orders across different product lines, which includes ensuring Manex entries are made, tracking and resolving part issues and shortages, and maintaining a smooth transition between work orders
- Ensure current employees and contract workers are provided with the proper training for the work they are being assigned
- Initiate employee disciplinary action recommendations and review corrective action progress with necessary parties
- Monitor employee arrival, break, and exit times; overtime; attendance; and time cards/sheets
- Provide feedback to production staff continuously and complete formal reviews annually with each employee
- Assist in interviewing potential candidates for open positions within the Department and make recommendations for candidate selection
- Work with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, etc. to implement continuous improvement actions
- Monitor and enforce 5S, ESD, Quality Standards, and other applicable policies
- Perform related duties as required or assigned within the job classification
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree in Electronics or 2 years of supervisory experience with a manufacturing company
- Ability to work differently, as needed
- Computer skills such as Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook, and the ability to manoeuvre within ERP
