Main responsibilities
- To carry out testing and repairs of complex electronic systems down to component level on digital and analogue circuits
- To repair CCTV equipment, PCs, UPS and switch modes power supplies
- To use a variety of test equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers as required
- To follow electronic schematics, gerber files, CAD layouts, wiring diagrams and diagnostic fault trees and complex engineering instructions
- To work on electronic equipment and diagnose faults without the aid of a test specification, bill of materials, items list or electronic schematics where required and be able to develop supporting documentation for repeat repairs
- To maintain accurate process data/records/documentation associated with your work
- To adhere to health and safety standards, quality standards, policies and procedures
- To carry out 5S
- To provide improvement ideas to the Production Manager
- To collaborate with technical, quality and other departments when required

REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- HNC in electronics or equivalent
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to conduct root cause analysis
- A technical mind and ability to work with your hands
- Working knowledge of relevant machinery and equipment
- Knowledge of relevant safety and quality standards and procedures
- The ability to interpret technical specifications and information
- Good communication skills
- Continuous learning and development
Desirable:
- Background in Electronics Manufacturing
- Experience of working in a repair environment
