Meet the team: Marian Kasan from Incap Slovakia

Let’s meet one of our team members from Incap Slovakia! Marian Kasan is our building maintenance technician at Incap Slovakia. Read more about his background, his journey at Incap, and some other interesting facts!

Marian finished Istebné secondary vocational school mechanic and repairman education, followed by 2 years of evening study, where he obtained a high school diploma in metal machining. Since 1997, he has worked at the former PUNCH plant in various positions, from foreman to production manager and being responsible for managing the production of cable harnesses.

“This company went through further development and a change of ownership. At the end of these changes, it became Incap Electronics Slovakia s.r.o., where I work in the maintenance department as a building maintenance technician,” said Marian.

He is in charge of maintenance, renovation, and reconstruction work on the building, but his duties also include ensuring the transportation of various supplies for production. “I like my job because it is very varied. We have an excellent team here! I have known most of my colleagues for many years and I really enjoy working with them,” he added.

Marian has been working as an employee representative for four years in a row and he has the opportunity to participate in decisions on important issues regarding creating and building working conditions for all the employees. “For me, it is a new dimension of communication with colleagues, which brings new topics and further personal growth for me. As an employee who has been working here since the beginning of the company’s existence, I can clearly see the progress the company has made in recent years,” described Marian.

In his free time, Marian likes to spend time with his family. “I have four children and six grandchildren. We are a large and close-knit family, and despite our current hectic life, we always find enough time for each other,” he said. Marian also enjoys sports, doing charity work, and working in the municipal council. He is a communicative and sociable person and likes working with people.
