Introducing our Manufacturing Engineer: Kayla Hussar at Incap US!

Kayla’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Psychology from Penn State University. After graduating, she embarked on her career in the oil and gas industry, gaining experience in supply chain, safety, and quality. Seeking new opportunities in an industry that was new to her, Kayla found her way to Incap US, which was conveniently located near her hometown. She was drawn to the company’s stable future and the chance to work in a dynamic and evolving industry.
At Incap, Kayla’s main responsibilities revolve around ensuring that products are manufactured in accordance with customer requirements. She takes the lead in identifying areas for improvement on the manufacturing line and implementing effective solutions. Additionally, Kayla is responsible for documenting work procedures and providing accurate quotes for new assemblies, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our operations.
What Kayla enjoys most about working at Incap is the close-knit community within the plant. As a relatively small group, it’s easy to get to know her fellow employees, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. She also appreciates the company’s commitment to organising exciting events throughout the year for employees to enjoy.
Outside of work, Kayla has a range of hobbies and interests. She finds joy in cooking and baking, exploring antique stores, and spending time outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, biking, or simply enjoying nature, she appreciates the beauty of the natural world. Kayla also cherishes the time spent with her fiancé and family, creating lasting memories and cherished moments together.
In her pursuit of personal and professional growth, Kayla has taken the initiative to enrol in a Women’s Leadership course. This course focuses on equipping women with leadership tools to drive positive change in the workplace. Kayla decided to participate in the course to develop new skills and gain fresh perspectives from other women in the manufacturing industry who face similar challenges. Through the course, Kayla has already gained valuable techniques to enhance her communication, conflict resolution, and critical thinking skills. She eagerly looks forward to applying these newfound skills to her everyday work life.
