Incap US hosts first-ever Family Day
Incap US recently hosted its very first Family Day, welcoming around 150 attendees for a fun-filled day of activities. The event allowed employees to share their workplace with their families, providing a unique opportunity to showcase where they work.
The day began with an outdoor picnic featuring grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, with music playing in the background. Attendees enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere, complete with several cornhole games, which added to the festive mood.
One of the highlights for the younger attendees was the hands-on craft projects organised by one of Incap’s engineers. The kids created a robot that lit up when its arms touched and a guitar-themed picture using conductive pens, which allowed them to “play” a virtual guitar, lighting up an LED when the connections were completed.
To capture memories of this event, an “Incap Rocks” backdrop with props was set up for employees and their families to take photos, which quickly became a popular spot for commemorating the day.
Another highlight of the event was the guided tours of the Incap US factory, led by several supervisors. Employees proudly showed their families their workstations, explaining their daily tasks and the technologies they work with, providing insight into their roles.
The event also featured a “passport” challenge for the children. Each child received a passport and was tasked with finding information boards representing different countries where Incap operates. As they explored, they answered questions about each location and collected flag stickers, making the activity both fun and educational.
Employees provided positive feedback, expressing how much they enjoyed sharing their workplace with their families and meeting their coworkers’ families. Some children even left the event inspired to work at Incap when they grow up. This memorable Family Day event strengthened connections between employees, their families, and Incap, creating lasting memories for all who attended.
