Incap UK welcomes four new engineering apprentices

September 16, 2026

Incap UK has welcomed four new apprentices to its team. Karol Gorski, Andaleeb Sardar, Arthur Hankey and Eva-Jean Lynch joined the company on 1 September 2026 and have begun a Level 3 Engineering Fitter apprenticeship that will run until 2030.

Delivered through Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG), the programme combines study towards nationally recognised qualifications with practical workplace training at Incap UK. This will give the apprentices opportunities to learn about different areas of electronics manufacturing and build a strong foundation for their future careers.

Learning through practical experience

For Arthur, Incap UK’s approach to training was one of the main reasons for choosing the programme. “I chose Incap because its approach to training and thoroughness stood out to me. The opportunity to gain a qualification through one of the best colleges in the region, as well as gaining experience in what I’m learning at work, made joining Incap an easy choice,” he said.

Arthur is looking forward to learning about electronic components and their purposes. He hopes this knowledge will help him follow an engineering career in the future. He is also excited to experience different departments and see the various jobs and stages involved in production.

Karol was particularly drawn to the welcoming culture at Incap UK. “The community culture here at Incap made it an easy choice compared with the other apprenticeships. The people are very warm and welcoming, so it was easy to settle in,” he said. Karol is especially looking forward to learning how to operate Incap UK’s SMT and X-ray machines.

Andaleeb chose the apprenticeship because of the opportunity to experience different areas of electronics assembly, testing and manufacturing. “Department rotations will allow me to gain a lot of knowledge and experience in different areas. This will be beneficial when I move into my final department, as I’ll be more aware of the impact my position has on the other areas I have worked in,” she said.

Andaleeb is looking forward to learning about the different PCBs made at Incap UK and what they are used for. One day, she would also like the opportunity to design a board for something purposeful.

Eva-Jean was attracted by the combination of professionalism and friendliness she experienced at Incap UK “Honestly, I was applying everywhere, but Incap appealed to me because of its professional yet friendly atmosphere. It was also almost exactly the type of work I was looking for,” she said. “I’m looking forward to learning just about anything new. It’s all going to be useful and exciting.”

A welcoming start

The apprentices have already begun learning the fundamentals of electronics manufacturing and getting to know their new colleagues.

Arthur said that the welcoming first weeks had allowed him to learn the basics at his own pace and had also been quite fun. Karol described the experience as “steady and yet a blast” and particularly enjoyed meeting his fellow apprentices. Andaleeb has enjoyed the learning process and getting started with soldering, while Eva-Jean described her first weeks as “immaculate, informative and better than I imagined”.

We warmly welcome Karol, Andaleeb, Arthur and Eva-Jean to Incap UK and wish them every success throughout their apprenticeships.
