Celebrating innovation and talent at the Innokas 2024 programming and robotics tournaments
In the spirit of innovation and the advancement of young minds in technology, Incap Corporation is thrilled to share insights from the recent regional tournaments of the Innokas 2024 programming and robotics tournament. We are proud to support these events that empower young minds to explore the world of technology by innovating, building and programming.
From Lappeenranta to Oulu, Helsinki to Lohja, each regional tournament has brought together young tech enthusiasts across Finland to challenge, collaborate, and innovate. Here’s a glimpse into the regional tournaments that have set the stage for the grand finale:
- 13th March – Lappeenranta tournament at Nuorisokeskus Monari (28 participants / 10 teams)
- 13th March – Kokkola tournament at Hollihaan School (42 participants / 15 teams)
- 14th March – Kontiolahti tournament at Kontiolahden School (6 participants / 3 teams)
- 15th March – Oulu tournament at Oulu University (126 participants / 46 teams)
- 20th March – Helsinki tournament at Helsinki University (115 participants / 39 teams)
- 20th March – Tampere tournament at Lamminrahkan School (57 participants / 20 teams)
- 27th March – Kuopio tournament at Snellmanin School (16 participants / 6 teams)
- 27th March – Lohja tournament at Laurentius School (89 participants / 33 teams)
In total: 479 participants / 172 teams
The national tournament
The excitement culminates on 14th May 2024 at the national tournament promises to be a melting pot of ideas and inventions. The theme of the 2024 end event is technology around us. There will be exciting quick challenges for all participants, getting to know the competition entries and a lot of other participatory activities.
