Incap Slovakia reduces air freight emissions by over 11%
Incap Slovakia has achieved a measurable reduction in transport-related emissions through its use of DHL’s GoGreen Plus service in 2025.
During the period from January to December 2025, the company utilized low-emission air freight solutions supported by Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). This resulted in a reduction of 5.46 tonnes of CO₂e, representing an 11.39% decrease compared to standard air transport methods.
In total, 72,423 tonne-kilometers of goods were transported using this solution, with 12.83% of the fuel mix consisting of sustainable aviation fuel. The environmental impact and savings have been independently verified by SGS, ensuring transparency and credibility.
Air freight is typically one of the most carbon-intensive modes of transport. By integrating SAF into its logistics chain, Incap Slovakia is actively reducing its Scope 3 emissions, which are indirect emissions generated across the value chain.
Sustainable aviation fuel is produced from alternative sources such as waste oils and residues and offers significantly lower lifecycle emissions compared to conventional jet fuel.
