Incap Legends returns, bringing gamers together for global esports tournament
Incap Corporation is proud to announce the return of ‘Incap Legends’, its international esports tournament, organised in partnership with Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG). The one-day competition will take place on 25 April 2026, bringing together teams from around the world to compete remotely in Apex Legends, a fast-paced, team-based battle royale game.
Following its successful launch in 2025, Incap Legends returns as part of the company’s continued efforts to engage the next generation of talent and create new connections between education and industry. The tournament combines competitive gaming with skills that are highly relevant in engineering and electronics, including teamwork, strategic thinking, and fast decision-making.
“We are excited to bring back Incap Legends for a second year and continue building this initiative,” said Otto Pukk, President and CEO of Incap Corporation. “The response to the first tournament showed clear interest from young enthusiasts, and we see real value in creating formats that connect young people with our industry. Esports offers a natural environment to develop skills that are directly applicable in technology and engineering. I’ll be joining again this year, so I’m looking forward to seeing how the competition has developed and whether I’ve managed to keep up.”
The tournament is organised in collaboration with Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG), a leading general further education college in Staffordshire, known for its strong esports programme, experienced specialists, and state-of-the-art facilities. With its experience in delivering competitive events, NSCG plays a key role in ensuring a high-quality and engaging tournament experience for participants.
“We are excited to continue our collaboration with Incap and provide students with another opportunity to take part in a competitive and structured esports environment,” said Robin Tankard, Lecturer and Esports Course Leader at NSCG. “Events like this give students the chance to apply their skills in practice and highlight how esports can support wider learning and career development.” NSCG continues to expand its presence in esports by offering students access to real-world opportunities through competitive events and industry collaboration.
