Meet the team: Lubica Gerekova, Team Leader at Incap Slovakia

Let us introduce you to Lubica Gerekova, Team Leader at Incap Slovakia. Lubica joined the company in 2011 and has grown together with our team for more than a decade.

Although her background is in clothing production – she graduated from the Secondary Vocational School of Clothing in Námestovo – Lubica decided to take on a new challenge when she couldn’t find work in her field. She started at Incap as a cable production operator and quickly discovered that this area sparked her interest. Taking part in new projects, learning the work from the ground up, and gaining hands-on experience all played an important part in her development.

Over the years, Lubica progressed professionally and in 2023 she was offered the role of team leader – a new step that she embraced with confidence. Today, she focuses on supporting her colleagues, sharing the experience she has gained, and meeting the expectations of those who have entrusted her with this responsibility.

Outside of work, Lubica enjoys spending time in nature, cycling, collecting herbs, reading, and simply being in good company. She also appreciates that Incap organises various events, as they offer a chance to meet colleagues across the company and strengthen relationships beyond daily work.
