Meet the Team: Tomas Vernicek, Production Team Leader at Incap Slovakia
Meet Tomas Vernicek, one of our Production Team Leaders in the SMT department at Incap Slovakia. With a strong work ethic and a clear sense of purpose, Tomas plays an important role in ensuring smooth production while supporting and motivating his team.
His journey began at the Secondary Vocational School of Polytechnics in Ružomberok, a school that combined academic studies with sports. Before joining Incap, Tomas gained experience at several companies, including Mondy SCP, ZTS Strojárne Námestovo (now HERN s.r.o.), and STOM s.r.o.
He joined Incap in 2014 as a contract cable assembler. Motivated to grow and improve, he moved into SMT operations, gaining five years of experience, including four years in a dedicated hall for automotive business. His dedication didn’t go unnoticed. After proving himself as an operator, he was offered the opportunity to step into the role of Production Team Leader, which he accepted.
In his current role, Tomas is responsible for overseeing production operations, motivating the team, helping meet company goals, and ensuring that rules and discipline are followed on the shop floor. What he values most about working at Incap is the diversity and the opportunities for employee development. “There’s always a chance to learn something new. The company offers training and support that help people move forward,” he says.
Describing himself as open, purposeful, and hardworking, Tomas enjoys spending his free time with his family, hiking, doing housework, and playing football, which is his lifelong passion. “Football helps me relax and clear my head,” he shares. Most recently, he was part of the team that represented Incap Slovakia at the Employees’ League football tournament.
